Spain still not lifting conditions on acquisition of Endesa - Commission continues procedures

Brussels, 31/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 31 January, the European Commission formally requested Spain to explain why it had not withdrawn the conditions imposed by the Spanish Energy Regulator (CNE) on the acquisition of Endesa by Enel (Italy) and Acciona (Spain) or lift these said conditions.
