Brussels, 31/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 31 January, the European Parliament adopted a report by Markus Ferber (EPP-ED, Germany) on concluding the single postal services market. Rejecting all of the nineteen amendments lodged by the PES, Greens/EFA and GUE/NGL groups, it endorsed the Council's Common Position of October 2007 (see EUROPE 9513), following the recommendation of the Transport and Tourism Committee.
