Brussels, 07/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - After completing the necessary changes to its constitution, France will ratify the treaty formally signed in Lisbon on 13 December 2007. All EU member states, except Ireland, will ratify the treaty in parliament. In France, ratification, probably in February, needs two steps: amendment of the constitution and a vote on ratification of the treaty.
