07/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - With effect from 1 January 2008, the United States has increased the cost of entry visas from $100 to $131. This rise is partly to meet the increased costs of processing and of tighter security. The price rise comes after the United States began taking ten fingerprints at airports and other points of entry in November 2007 (see EUROPE 9547).
