18/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 18 December, the European Commission presented to the Council proposals aimed at ten year authorisations for four genetically modified products (GM maize Mon863xNK603, Mon863xMon810 and Mon863xMon810xNK603; and potato “Amflora” EH92-527-1). This approach follows the failure of the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health to deliver a definitive opinion either for or against these proposed authorisations on 10 October.
