Brussels, 17/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 17 December, the committee of permanent representatives of the member states (Coreper) gave its blessing to the opening of accession negotiations with Turkey on two additional chapters (trans-European networks, health and consumer protection), at a ministerial negotiating meeting which will take place in Brussels on Wednesday 19 December. On Wednesday afternoon, Croatia will also open to new chapters: trans-European networks and budget. (H.B.)
