Parliament, Commission and Council to solemnly proclaim charter of fundamental rights in Strasbourg

Brussels, 04/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will meet in plenary session in Strasbourg from Monday 10-13 December. This session will be marked by the solemn proclamation by the presidents of the Parliament, Commission and Council on Wednesday 12 December, of the Charter of Fundamental Rights. There has already been a proclamation on the text during the summit of Nice in December 2000. On Thursday 13, MEPs will be voting on the draft EU budget for 2008, after discussions...
