29/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 22 November, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted, without debate, the regulation repealing Regulation 954/79 on the ratification by member states of the United Nations Convention on a code of conduct for maritime conferences. This purely technical decision, gets rid of the now obsolete regulation. From 18 October 2008, maritime conferences will not be allowed for trade to or from member state ports (EUROPE 9096).
