Brussels, 27/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - 52% of Danes are in favour of their country acceding to the euro, according to a Vilstrup Synovate survey published on Monday 26 November by the Danish daily newspaper Politiken. 39% are opposed to it and 9% undecided. Last week, Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen announced plans to hold one or more referendums aiming to get rid of the four “opt-outs” (euro, JHA, defence and European citizenship) which Denmark obtained in 1993 (EUROPE 9550).
