Brussels, 21/11/2007 (Agence Europe): After several weeks of negotiations and a three-hour meeting, the delegations of the European Parliament and the Council failed, on Tuesday 20 November, to reach an agreement in conciliation on the proposed regulation bringing in common rules on air safety (see EUROPE 9406). The funding of the additional safety measures and the comitology remain the principal subjects of dispute.
