21/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 20 November, the Council adopted conclusions on ways of ensuring coherent interaction and mutual support between the EU's development cooperation policy and other EU policies. Three series of conclusions were adopted (in addition to those on security and development, see EUROPE 9546), namely general conclusions on methods to be adopted to ensure coherence among EU policies when it comes to development, and coherence between development policies and other policies in a number of pertinent domains; conclusions on an alliance between developing countries which are vulnerable to the impact of climate change; and conclusions on coherence between development policies and immigration.
