19/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and Morocco have announced the launch of five institutional twinning projects in the field of agriculture, consumer protection, competition, decentralisation and the fight against money laundering. Four initial projects were launched on 30 November 2005. They have led to a rapprochement between the Moroccan administration and those of the EU countries in support of its reform programme. This twinning comes as part of the second phase of the “Programme of Support” to the Association Agreement funded by the EU with an initial envelope of 20 million EUR, to be added to by a further 20 million EUR for the period 2008-2010.
