05/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has published the most recent version of its 'Combined Nomenclature' which will come into force on 1 January 2008. Updated every year, it is used for declaring goods for import/export and calculating customs duty. The 'combined nomenclature' was introduced by Regulation 2658/87/EEC on tariff and statistical nomenclature and the common customs tariffs.
