Commission suggests mobilisation of European Globalisation Adjustment Fund up to €14.8 million

Brussels, 12/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - As it had pledged to do, the European Commission adopted, on Thursday 11 October, a proposal aimed at mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (GAF) to help persons previously employed in the mobile telephony sector who were made redundant in Germany and Finland (for details, see EUROPE 9511).

The Council of Ministers and the European Parliament are invited to make available out of a Community budget for 2007 the sum of €14.794...
