23/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - Since 13 July, Germany has indicated that six farms have been infected with ovine catarrhal fever (blue tongue) in Worth Westphalia Rhineland and Westphalia-Palatinate. One farm in the Antwerp region of Belgium has also been infected. This new viral activity has led other member states affected by this epizooty in 2006 (France, Netherlands and Luxembourg) to suspend Community trade between contained areas and areas affected.
