23/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 23 July, the EU Council of ministers adopted, without debate, the texts of the new fisheries agreement between the EU and São Tomé e Príncipe. The four-year agreement provides for tuna fishing possibilities for 43 Community vessels: 25 freezer tuna vessels (13 Spanish and 12 French) and 18 surface longliners (13 Spanish and 5 Portuguese).
