13/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - After examination under the simplified merger review procedure, on Wednesday 8 June, the Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of a newly-created company by Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG of Germany and GE Transportation Finance, Inc. belonging to the General Electric group of the US. The new entity, GDM Shipping GmbH & Co KG, will operate container vessels and related services. (cd)
