GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/culture

13/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - After hearing the presentations by the two cites applying to be “European Capitals of Culture 2011” on 4 June, the European Jury published its report on 13 June. It recommended that Turku (Finland) and Tallinn (Estonia) be approved. The final decision will be taken by the Culture Council, probably during the second half of 2007, under Portuguese presidency. (ol)
