13/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - Following the adoption, on 27 April, of the United Nations Security Council Resolution ending the ban on the import of raw diamonds from Liberia, the EU Council of Ministers, on 11 June, adopted, without debate, a common position on this issue. On 4 May, Liberia was admitted to the Kimberly certification Process in the international raw diamond trade. (ol)
