13/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 11 June, the EU Council of Ministers adopted, without debate, the decision allowing increases to EU funding for Regional Advisory Councils (RACs), which were set up in 2004 to give stakeholders a greater say in the decision-making process in the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). The EU's annual allocation per RAC will be €250,000 (see EUROPE 9316). (lc)
