01/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the German presidency of the European Union welcomed the arrest, on 31 May in Bosnia-Herzegovina, of Zdravko Tolimir, a suspected war criminal charged by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). In 2005, the ICTY charged Tolimir for crimes against humanity and war crimes, perpetrated in Srebrenica in 1995. “He must be extradited immediately to the Criminal Tribunal in The Hague”, the EU states.
