Mediterranean Forum to meet in Crete on 1-2 June

Brussels, 31/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Mediterranean Forum will meet at Rethymon, Crete, on 1-2 June. It will bring together the foreign ministers of 11 Mediterranean countries, EU members and not: Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey. At this 8th meeting, ministers will discuss the situation in the region, particularly the Middle East, the forthcoming G8 meeting and, above all, cooperation in the Mediterranean.
