Spidla and Frattini suggest convening a joint Justice/Employment Council on migration - latest results of Social/Employment Council

Brussels, 31/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - During lunch on Wednesday 30 May, EU employment and social affairs ministers discussed issues relating to migration in the presence of Commissioners Vladimir Spidla (Employment/Social) and Franco Frattini (JHA). The two commissioners suggested convening a joint council of justice and employment ministers to allow them to continue discussion on this theme - a proposal that was heartily approved.
