29/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a statement published on 28 May, the presidency is concerned by the decision of the Venezuelan government not to renew the Radio Caracas Television (RCTV) broadcasting licence. The EU has reminded the authorities of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela of their promises regarding an open competition and a tender process for that same licence. (ab)
