Brussels, 25/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - European trade unionists, at their congress this week in Seville, went on the offensive for a social Europe showing strength and solidarity, by coming out against a mini European treaty with no social section and by adopting the “Seville Manifesto”, which summarises the ETUC strategy and action plan for 2007-2011, and the Charter on Gender Mainstreaming, which seeks to integrate gender equality into life and the work of trade unions.
