EU would be willing to consider deploying peace force if parties involved suggest it, Solana says

Brussels, 25/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, the EU high representative for the CFSP, said on Thursday that the Palestinian unity government composed of Fatah and Hamas was not working and that the EU was ready to envisage deployment of a peace force in the region.
