23/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - In its judgment of 19 April in Case C-381/05, the Court of Justice notes that the brewer De Landtsheer SA is not absolutely forbidden from drawing comparisons with sparkling wines with designation of origin in its adverts for its beer “Malheur Brut Réserve”, which is brewed using a process based on the production method for sparkling wines. With this comparison not being illegal in itself, it is for the Belgian court which referred the matter to determine...
