Brussels, 10/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - Palestinian Finance Minister Salam Fayyad (Fatah) is to meet Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss gradual resumption of EU direct aid to the Palestinian Authority. With a Palestinian government of national unity (Fatah/Hamas) in place, the Commission plans to modify the Temporary International Mechanism (TIM) for the Palestinians to gradually redirect it to the coffers of the Ministry of Finance in order to also cover...
