13/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 13 March, the European Commission granted clearance to two acquisitions, examined under the simplified merger review procedure. Candover Partners Limited of the United Kingdom will acquire sole control of Parques Reunidos S.A. of Spain, which manages leisure parks, via a new incorporated company Desarrollos Empresariales Biarritz S.L., also of Spain. In the infrastructure sector, the Commission gave the green light to the acquisition of joint control of Exeter and Devon Airport Limited in the South-West of England by the asset investment and constructing company Balfour Beatty plc of the United Kingdom and Galaxy S.àr.L, a transport and infrastructure equity fund, of Luxembourg.
