28/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Office of the High Representative of the international community in Bosnia (OHR), which was due to shut in June 2007, will, in fact, remain open for a further year at the most, High Representative Christian Schwarz-Schilling announced on Tuesday. “The aim is to close the Office by 30 June 2008 at the latest,” Mr Schwarz-Schilling said. His period of office comes to an end in June of this year and he said on Tuesday that he did not wish it to be extended beyond that date. (hb)
