26/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The “Confrontations Europe” and EUROFI think tanks are organising a conference on the Commission's “Solvability II” project, at the premises of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels. Three round tables are being organised on the following themes: solvability reform and risk management, expected responses from “Solvability II” to the EU's economic and social requirements, organisational development in the insurance sector. Participants will include several MEPs and representatives from the Commission and industry. The Commission is expected to present a draft directive next July.
