Commission looks at best way of getting rid of taxation double whammy

Brussels, 20/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has launched a public consultation that will end on 31 May. This consultation will examine implementation of a mechanism that aims to get rid of individual case of dual taxation in the area of value added tax (VAT). Companies and individuals who have already experienced this kind of phenomenon have been invited to give their opinions.
