Brussels, 02/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - In mid-January, the Commission adopted the report on the assessment of the objectives laid down by directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles, setting rates for the re-use, recycling and valorisation of these vehicles between now and 2015. Although uncertainties persist, the Commission believes that it will be beneficial to keep rates high.
