Commission proposes €200 million between 2007 and 2010 - Shaukat Aziz denies any government support for terrorist groups

Brussels, 31/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - Following her meeting on Tuesday with Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Azizu, External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner announced a €200 million package for Pakistan overt the next four years. A large part of this amount will be spent on rural development in the North West Frontier Province and Baluchistan, to strengthen natural resources management, develop community physical infrastructure and to improve livelihoods and employment...
