Natural Gas Metrology Centre in Boyarka, Ukraine, is inaugurated - first joint initiative for gas transport

Brussels, 22/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs inaugurated the Natural Gas Metrology Centre in Boyarka, Ukraine. The centre is partially financed by Community funds within the framework of the Interstate Oil and Gas Transport to Europe programme (INOGATE), and is the first joint Euro-Ukrainian initiative for a transparent Russian gas transport system to the Union.
