11/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - The EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Defence Policy is the winner of the 2007 Charlemagne Prize, the Mayor of Aachen and jury spokesman Jürgen Linden announced in a press release on Saturday. This German prize, which will be awarded to Javier Solana on 27 May 2007, recognises an individual who or an action which makes a significant contribution to European unity.
