27/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 23 November, the European Commission approved the proposed acquisition of Swiss company Saurer AG by Oerlikon Corporation AG, concluding that the transaction would not significantly impede competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
