Strasbourg, 16/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - With a view to the sixth conference for examination of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), to be held in Geneva from 20 November to 8 December, and the third examination conference of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW), currently underway in Geneva until 17 November, the European Parliament calls for a stronger commitment on the part of the EU in favour of strengthening such conventions.
