Report on European Globalisation adjustment Fund postponed

Strasbourg, 15/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament decided on 13 November to postpone the report by Roselyne Bachelot (EPP-ED, France) on the creation of a European Globalisation adjustment Fund until the session on 29-30 November in Brussels. The delay was proposed by French Socialist MEP Jean-Louis Cottigny, who said that the Committee of Member States' Permanent Representatives (Coreper) had only completed its text on Friday and MEPs had not had time to study it.
