Brussels, 10/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the European Commission cleared the acquisition of joint control of Sisal SpA of Italy by Apax Partners Holdings Ltd of the UK, Permira Holdings Limited of the UK and Clessidra SGR SpA. APHL and PHL provide investment management and advisory services to private equity funds. Clessidra is a private equity fund and Sisal is mainly involved in games and betting management. (ol)
