Poland hopes to join EGF

Brussels, 04/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - Poland has announced its intention to take part in the European Gendarmerie Force (EGF) on 2 October during the informal EU defence minsters' meeting in Levi. Poland did not, however, give any details about the level of participation or when it would begin, but it will be the sixth country to take part in EGF.
