04/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and Finnish Trade and Industry Minister Mauri Pekkarinen will chair a meeting in Lisbon this Friday, 6 October, of national coordinators in charge of the implementation of the Lisbon Strategy in their respective countries. Commissioner Günther Verheugen will also take part in discussions which will largely focus on innovation. (hb)
