04/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 4 October, the European Commission adopted the decision on the allocation, by Member State, of the total budget of €3.54 billion for 2007-2013 from the European Fisheries Fund. It said that total FIFG (fisheries aid) funding from 2000 to 2006 amounted to €3.7 billion for the 15 old Member States, plus a further €272 million allocated to the ten new Member States from 1st May 2004 to 31 December 2006.
