28/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 27 September, the European Parliament approved the extension from 16 June 2006 to 15 June 2007 of the protocol attached to the EU-Guinea-Bissau fisheries agreement (see EUROPE 9186). The extension of this agreement was decided between the two sides to prepare negotiations for a future partnership agreement with the EU.
