Brussels, 11/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 12 September, European Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy will present a legislative proposal amending the prudential rules which national regulators can invoke to oppose a merger or cross-border acquisition in banking and insurance (directives 2000/12/EC and 92/49/EEC).
