11/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - The French monthly publication La Recherche has devoted its September edition to four centuries (XVIIth to XXth) of discoveries, reminding us, through 116 experiments which changed the world, of the great age of European scientists and inventors. This inevitably begs the question of Europe's place in research today.
