Latest ECAS report presented, by Mario Conti, recommends removal of restrictions to free movement of workers

Strasbourg, 06/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Member States of the EU15 should adopt a more positive attitude towards workers from the new Member States, and, rather than imposing restrictions on their freedom of movement, thereby risking “irregular immigration”, they should take account of the contribution foreign workers make to the economic performance of the host country, former European Commissioner and President of the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) Mario Monti said in...
