Brussels, 29/08/2006 (Agence Europe) - The next International Bertelsmann Forum, which will take place in Berlin on 22-23 September, will be opened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and the Prime Ministers of France Dominique de Villepin, Belgium Guy Verhofstadt and Hungary Ferenc Gyurcsany. Speeches on the main topic, security policy, will be delivered notably by the High Representative of the CFSP Javier Solana, and the defence ministers of the UK Des Browne, Poland Radoslaw Sikorski and Germany Carl Josef Jung.
