29/08/2006 (Agence Europe) - In the context of decisions taken on 28 August by the EU Member States on measures to combat the spread of bluetongue in sheep (EUROPE 9252), the evolution of the epizootic has led France to impose surveillance measures in areas that encompass part of the French departments bordering on Belgium. The areas concerned are located in the following French departments: Aisne, Ardennes, Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Nord.
