29/08/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 30 August, on a proposal put forward by Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, the Commission should again recommend imposing definitive anti-dumping duties of 16.4% and 10% on imports of leather shoes from China and Vietnam respectively, despite the fact that, early August, a majority of EU Member States were opposed to this (see EUROPE 9242, 9247 and 9249).
